Repeat until

Loops that stop when something becomes true, like walking until you reach the well.

Planned. This module is part of the plan and is not written yet.

Why it matters

When you fetch water, you walk until you reach the well, not a fixed number of steps. A repeat-until loop stops when something becomes true.

Inside the module.

4 lessons in order, about 45 minutes in all, then a short test. Learners go at their own pace; the minutes are a guide, not a timetable.

  1. Lesson 1: Stop when it is true

Meet the repeat-until block and its condition.

    Explain10 min, from minute 0

  2. Lesson 2: Walk to the well

Walk a character until it touches the well, wherever the well is.

Worked example10 min, from minute 10

  3. Lesson 3: Until loops

Solve puzzles where the distance changes each time you play.

    Practice15 min, from minute 20

  4. Lesson 4: Counted or until?

Decide which kind of loop fits each job, and say why.

    Discussion10 min, from minute 35

  5. End-of-module test

Use repeat-until loops that stop at the right moment, and choose between counted and repeat-until loops for given tasks.

Mastered at 85% or more. Retake it until you pass; nothing is lost, and each try gives feedback.

Already know it? A Challenge Test (planned) clears the whole module: 90% overall, no objective below 75%.
