Notice to senders
- Figures are planning estimates from our build plan, not quotes or actual spend.
- A Lantern is built only once it is fully funded.
- Each estimated target covers both containers and the fit-out, solar power, battery and compute, satellite connection, water, filtered drinking water and toilets, transport to the village, land registration and first-in-country legal setup, three years of running costs and 15% overhead.
- Funds raised are being confirmed and appear only once verified.
- Monthly gifts can be changed or stopped at any time, from the link in your thank-you email or by writing to give@villagelantern.org.
